Our Values, Vision and Mission
As a Catholic School, it is our “divine mission to help all to arrive at the fullness of Christian life”. Through our teaching and learning, we develop our pupils’ faith and spirituality, their understanding of their culture and the important part they play in society.
As Pope Francis said, “The mission of schools is to develop a sense of truth, of what is good and beautiful. And this occurs through a rich path made up of many ingredients. This is why there are so many subjects – because development is the result of different elements that act together and stimulate intelligence knowledge, the emotions, the body and so on.”
To achieve our mission therefore as a Catholic School, we must keep Christ at the centre of all we do. We believe our mission statement reflects what we as a faith school are currently doing to achieve our vision.
‘Together we grow in knowledge and love, and walk in the footsteps of Jesus’

At Ss. PP, we see each person as an individual. We aim to provide a high quality, inclusive education where everyone is challenged to fulfil their unique potential:
- Nurture a love of learning, developing spiritually, religiously and academically
- Be ambitious and have high aspirations for themselves and others
- Value knowledge and skills to support them as life-long learners
- Be faithful global citizens, equipped to make a positive impact now and in the future
We believe in, and support everyone as an individual: their creativity, academic ability & spirituality. We work together to ensure a safe and nurturing environment where individuals are happy, respect each other and can be their best selves. We develop resilient pupils who form positive and meaningful relationships within school and the wider community.
We all work together to maintain a happy, nurturing and inclusive school community where children thrive and achieve and where all are respected, valued and understood.
We create an excellent learning environment where children are confident in their faith and beliefs, able to face challenges, know what is important and speak up when something is wrong. They are resilient and able to overcome setbacks and obstacles knowing that mistakes are a way of learning. They aspire to be their best now and as future global citizens ready to make a difference in our world.
